About
**Run to a beat. Hit your cadence. Every stride.** MetroPacer is a metronome built for runners. Set your target cadence — steps per minute — and a clean, steady click keeps you locked to it, kilometer after kilometer. Raising your cadence is one of the simplest ways to run more efficiently and ease impact on your knees and hips, and MetroPacer makes it effortless to hold. **Plays over your music and podcasts** Keep listening to whatever you love. The beat layers right on top of your audio from Apple Music, Spotify, Podcasts, and more — start your audio, then start the beat. No need to choose between your playlist and your pace. **Find your tempo in seconds** • One-tap cadence presets: 160, 170, 180, 190 SPM • Tap Tempo — tap along to any rhythm and MetroPacer sets the pace for you • Fine-tune by ±1 or ±5, or sweep the slider from 20 to 300 BPM **Made your way** • Four click sounds: Woodblock, High Click, Beep, and Tick • Accent the downbeat with 2/4, 3/4, or 4/4 time • Add subdivisions — eighths, triplets, or sixteenths — for a richer pulse • Independent beat volume so the click sits perfectly against your music **A beat you can feel and see** When wind, traffic, or earbuds-out make the click hard to hear, turn on: • Flash — the screen pulses on every beat • Vibrate — a haptic tap on each step **Simple by default** The main screen keeps it to the essentials: set your cadence and go. Everything else tucks into an Options panel for when you want it. Whether you're chasing a faster 5K, recovering from injury with a higher cadence, or just want to stop drifting off pace on the long ones — MetroPacer keeps you honest, one step at a time. Lace up. Press play. Find your rhythm.Read more
