About
Nido is a calm companion for pregnancy and the first two years. It keeps track of the day to day, shows you what's coming next, and answers the questions that come up at 3am. FROM TRYING TO TODDLER Start wherever you are: trying to conceive, expecting, or home with a newborn. Nido changes its guidance, checklists and tracking as your baby grows, and works for twins and for families with more than one child. LOGGING THAT KEEPS UP WITH YOU Record feeds, sleep, nappies, pumping, solids, medicines, temperatures and tummy time in a couple of taps, and undo anything you log by mistake. Time a feed as it happens, with the timer on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, or log it afterwards by saying how long it lasted and when it finished. Track shows the last 24 hours as a simple diary, alongside a typical day for your baby. NIGHT FEEDS Night mode gives you big buttons and a dim, warm screen for the small hours, and suggests which side is next. The whole app has a dark appearance too, which can switch on by itself after sunset. KNOW WHAT'S COMING Follow a week-by-week journey from early pregnancy to age two. Add appointments in a few taps, see the usual checks you still need to book, and send them to your calendar. Checklists for the hospital bag, getting the home ready and your own recovery show what's due now and what can wait. Appointment schedules are set for the UK and Ireland. ANSWERS YOU CAN TRUST Plain-English articles on feeding, sleep, development and recovery, with clear diagrams, based on NHS guidance. A milestones lookup shows the usual age range for things like rolling over, sitting up and first words. Every child develops at their own pace. GROWTH Record weight, length and head size, starting from birth weight, and see how they change over time. TOOLS • White noise: six sleep sounds, including womb, rain and ocean, that keep playing when your phone is locked and fade out on a timer. • Through baby's eyes: point your camera and see roughly how your baby sees the world at their age. • Dress for the weather: what to put your baby in today. • Siri logging, home and lock screen widgets, and PDF and CSV exports to share with your health visitor. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no ads and no analytics. Your records stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. The camera view is processed on your phone and never saved. If you use the weather tool, your approximate location is sent to Open-Meteo to get local conditions. Nido gives general information, not medical advice. Always follow the advice of your midwife, health visitor or GP. If you're worried about your baby's movements, contact your maternity unit straight away rather than relying on a log. In an emergency, call 999, or 112 in Ireland.Read more
