CommuniPlace

CommuniPlace is an iOS app designed to solve the everyday problem of losing track of interesting places shared by friends and family on social media. When someone shares a restaurant, cafe, or travel destination on Yelp, Instagram, or other apps, CommuniPlace makes it effortless to capture and organize these recommendations for future reference. The app features a powerful share extension that appears directly in the iOS share sheet, letting you save places without leaving your social media apps. The post saves right away in the moment; if something ever goes wrong, you'll see a clear message instead of silently losing it. When it carries a location, CommuniPlace finds it on Apple Maps automatically; otherwise, search for it yourself in a couple of taps. All saved places are stored locally using Core Data and displayed on an interactive map powered by MapKit. Users can browse their saved places, view detailed information, and organize their discoveries - whether it's planning a future trip or remembering that perfect brunch spot a friend recommended months ago. Your saved places are always available, even offline; saving a new one needs an internet connection. Perfect for travelers, foodies, and anyone who's ever lost track of that amazing place a friend shared on social media. CommuniPlace is 100% free for everyone, supported by ads. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no paywalls. Suggest features or report issues from the in-app CommuniDev tab; we keep the app free for everyone, forever.
