About

Your thumb gets to the app before you do. Rewire puts one thing in that gap. You choose which apps to shield and the hours to shield them. When you reach for one, a single line meets you at the tap — picked for what you're actually working on. Then you close it, or take ten minutes and go in anyway. Not a blocker. Not affirmations. A delivery system for the thought you wouldn't have had on your own. Why an interruption works when nothing else did Motivation apps send notifications you swipe away without reading. Blockers punish you, and you delete them by Friday. Rewire uses the one moment neither can reach: the half-second between the tap and the feed, when the old pattern is already running and you are, briefly, listening. How it works Pick your apps — anything you open without deciding to. Pick your window — work hours, after 9pm, overnight, whatever's yours. Get met at the tap — one line, then Close, or Unlock for 10 minutes. Watch it add up — every interception counts, whichever button you press. The lines are not affirmations Most affirmation apps hand you a sentence about yourself that you don't believe. If you're already hard on yourself, repeating it tends to widen the gap rather than close it. So Rewire mostly reframes or asks instead: "What if the grown-up in my head who frowns at silliness is just bad at parties?" "What if a mind that wandered off is tired, not ruined?" "What if stuck on page forty means I reached page forty?" "Suppose your instrument in the corner only needs tuning today, not playing well." 3,000+ lines across five focus areas — Work & Money, Relationships, Mind & Emotions, Health & Body, Meaning & Growth. You put them in your own order and choose what you want support with inside each one. The language is grounded throughout: no mysticism, no hype, no exclamation marks. Then it narrows. Review the day's lines, keep the ones that landed, hide the ones that didn't, and the next ones fit better. Kept lines come back around. What Rewire will never do No streaks to break. No score. No grade for the night you unlocked twelve times. The counter only goes up, and there is nothing here you can fail at — which is the point, because you have already tried the version with a punishment attached. Who it's for People who believe repetition changes a mind and can't make themselves repeat consistently. Perfectionists who doomscroll at midnight and then blame themselves for it. Anyone who has downloaded an affirmation app, a habit tracker and a screen time blocker in the same week and deleted all three. Rewire uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) to shield the apps you pick. It re-applies the shield on its own after an unlock expires, even if Rewire is closed.
