About

Return to Iron is a strength training tracker for lifters who want a clear plan and honest numbers. Pick a program, log every set, and watch your progress build. It also works when you're coming back after time away. Everything runs on your device. There's no account and no subscription, and nothing is uploaded. BUILT-IN PROGRAMS • Return to Iron — an 8-week on-ramp that rebuilds your movement patterns, work capacity and connective tissue before you load up. • Return to Iron: Reforged — 8 weeks of progressive overload that picks up where the on-ramp ends. • Ride Ready — a 6-week plan mixing short barbell sessions, a metabolic circuit, cycling, and yoga for anyone rebuilding for bike season. BUILD YOUR OWN • Design custom programs with the program builder, or import a program file someone has shared with you. • Add barbell lifts to any day with fixed sets, reps and weight, or as a percentage ramp from your training max. • Add timed accessory work, mobility, conditioning and active-rest modules. • Swipe to delete, long-press to adjust reps or times, and reorder your day. TRAIN WITH PRECISION • Percentage-based sets calculated from your training max. • Set up your bars and plates once. Return to Iron finds the closest weight you can actually load and shows the plates per side. • Built-in one-rep-max calculator with training max suggestions from your logged lifts. • Warm-up, working and AMRAP sets with quick +/− weight adjustment. TIMERS THAT KEEP UP • Rest timers, exercise timers, EMOM, AMRAP and multi-round circuits. • Countdown beeps and a keep-awake screen during timed work. • Run and bike sessions with a stopwatch and distance. KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS • When you finish a workout, rate it 1–10 on the RPE scale and add a note about sleep, soreness or form cues. • Compare your logged RPE with an estimate calculated from your load and reps, to see whether your training maxes are set right. SEE YOUR PROGRESS • Estimated one-rep-max trends for your main lifts. • Personal records, weekly volume, lift progression, and bodyweight tracking. • A full workout log you can browse, and training cycles you can archive and restore. APPLE WATCH COMPANION • Send your program to your Apple Watch and train with just your wrist. • Follow sets, rest timers, EMOM, AMRAP and circuits with haptic cues. • See live heart rate during your workout. • Workouts are saved to Apple Health. YOUR DATA IS YOURS • No account, no ads, no tracking. • Export your full history as a backup file and import it on another device any time. Return to Iron is for anyone who wants to get stronger with a plan they can follow and numbers they can trust. Download it, pick a program, and start your first session. Consult your doctor before starting any exercise program.Read more
