About
Fill the empty cells so every equation balances — across and down. Cross Number is a maths crossword: each row and each column is an equation, and one wrong digit breaks both. Every puzzle is generated on your device and verified for a single solution before you play it. Most number games reward speed. This one rewards deduction. Start from the digits you can prove, note down candidates where you can't, and watch the grid fall into place. A timer runs on every board, but only your star rating cares about it — the puzzle itself waits as long as you do. WHAT YOU GET • 200 hand-crafted levels across Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert — from gentle addition grids to 9×9 beasts mixing all four operations • A Daily Challenge that everyone solves the same day, with a calendar tracking your playing streak • Endless mode with a personal best to beat in each difficulty tier • Pencil notes and undo, so a slip costs seconds, not the whole puzzle • Error checking that highlights the exact row or column that fails to balance • Stars, coins, and hints earned through play — maintain a seven-day streak and earn 50 coins PERFECT FOR • Commuters solving a single puzzle on the Tube or train, even without a signal • Sudoku enthusiasts who want logic joined with arithmetic • Adults exercising mental maths without the pressure of flashcards • Evening wind-down: deduction instead of doomscrolling WHY NOT JUST SUDOKU? Sudoku asks where the numbers go. A maths crossword asks what the numbers are — every digit must work in both its row's and column's equation, so one grid trains both calculation and logic together. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No account, no ads, no tracking. Puzzles generate on your device, and your progress, streaks, and personal bests stay there.
