About

"1 becomes 5, 5 becomes 3, 3 becomes 4, 4 becomes 1." Have you ever frozen in the broadcast booth after hearing this one sentence from the umpire? For those on duty as in-field announcers at a youth baseball game, player substitutions are the most daunting part. Because they're announced quickly using defensive positions, you have to mentally rearrange who moved where and read it correctly into the microphone. Yakyuunsu calculates this rearrangement and displays it as readable text on the screen. ■ Converting player substitutions into readable text Simply tap the defensive position diagram to enter substitutions. It correctly handles chain-reaction substitutions, even if the order of announcements is mixed up. The entered content is always displayed on a confirmation screen, so you won't accidentally broadcast a mistake. ■ All the necessary text for your duty day is included The batter introduction automatically changes depending on whether it's the first at-bat or subsequent at-bats. It includes everything from pinch-hitting and pinch-running, temporary pinch-running, declared intentional walks, tie-break runner introductions, pitch count calls, and announcements for water breaks and game interruptions. ■ Customizable to your team's terminology Includes three sample scripts: Basic, Elementary School, and Junior High School Hardball. You can duplicate them and rewrite them to suit your team's or tournament's terminology. You can choose whether to include honorifics, whether to read furigana (pronunciation guides), and how much of a name to read without rewriting the text. ■ Duty handover completed with a single QR code Once you've created the roster and script, all you have to do is show the QR code or send the file. The recipient simply scans it, and it's ready to use for that day's game. ■ Practice at home before your duty You can use a fictional game to check how the script will sound for each situation. ■ No communication or server required No account registration or login is required. The roster and photos are stored only on your device. When handing it over to someone, it is encrypted with a password and transferred directly from device to device. It works without problems even on riverbank grounds where there is no signal. ■ Please Note The text displayed on the screen must be read aloud by the user. Automatic voice reading is not supported. ■ Background of Development The number of children playing Little League baseball is decreasing year by year. There is no single reason, but many parents hesitate to let their children play baseball because of the burden of duties and responsibilities. First and foremost, we believe that creating an environment where parents want their children to play is the first step. Yakyuunce was created to transform one of the most burdensome duties, announcements, into something anyone can handle. We share the development process and our responses to feedback on Instagram (@yakyuunce_official).Read more
