About
Even though you can read Chinese, your hands freeze when you try to type in WeChat or business emails. Pinda is an app that focuses solely on training you in this area. ■ Practice with the same steps as actual input The app has a dedicated Pinyin keyboard. There are no tone keys. ü is typed with v. As you type, suggestions appear, and the suggestions expand as you continue typing. Xi'an (西安) doesn't appear when typed as xian. The steps are the same as when actually typing Chinese. ■ Classify and show common stumbling blocks for Japanese speakers Typing mistakes are categorized as stumbling blocks specific to Japanese speakers. * Retroflex consonants (confusion of zh/z, ch/c, sh/s) * Nasal consonants (confusion of n/ng, an/ang, en/eng) * ü rule (typing v and u notation after j/q/x/y) * Separation marks (necessity of ' at syllable boundaries) * Japanese kanji interference (candidate selection influenced by Japanese character shapes) If you realize you frequently drop ng, you can identify what needs to be corrected. ■ Two types of practice Word drill: Compete to see how many words you can type within the time limit. Words, pinyin, and translations are displayed, so you can focus on typing practice rather than a vocabulary test. Conversation practice: Includes 300 scenarios. The other person's statements appear as they are, and you only type when it's your turn. Type the entire sentence and select from the candidates to confirm. By switching roles, you can type the same scenario again from a different perspective. Once you finish typing, proceed to the next step. ■ Learning records are stored only on your device. No account registration is required. There are no ads. Your typing content and scores are saved only on your device. They are not shared externally. To help fix the app, we only send records of bugs and statistics on how often each screen was used (Google Firebase). We do not send the typed text, scores, contact information, or location information. Target audience: Those with Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) levels 3-2, or around HSK level 4. Those who can read but struggle with typing.Read more
