About
This is a study app for the Registered Pharmacist Examination. This is an unofficial app independently created and not affiliated with the examination administering body (each prefecture). (It has not received approval, endorsement, or supervision.) It does not guarantee passing or scoring well. Chapter 3, "Major Pharmaceuticals and Their Effects," accounts for one-third of the entire exam. Instead of simply memorizing ingredient names, this app is designed to help you understand where pharmaceuticals affect the body and why they cause side effects. To ensure you don't just read and forget, each topic is presented with: ① Understand (read the article and diagram) → ② Confirm (solve similar problems) You can return to the article heading containing the reasoning behind incorrect answers. ■ Contents - 129 articles on understanding (one per topic) - 129 original diagrams (included within the articles) - 774 multiple-choice questions (72 common characteristics, 102 human anatomy, 354 major pharmaceuticals, 144 regulations, 102 appropriate use) - Mock exam (120 questions, same as the actual exam: 20 common characteristics, 20 human anatomy, 40 major pharmaceuticals, 20 regulations, 20 appropriate use. Questions will be drawn from the 774 questions above) - Reverse lookup table (Articles are provided that allow you to look up "things you shouldn't do" and "things to consult about" by person, symptoms, diagnosis, and body part) - Weakness review (Incorrectly answered questions will be re-presented the next day, 3 days later, and 7 days later) ■ Features - The app itself is free. You only need to pay once via in-app purchase to use all the learning materials. It's a one-time purchase; there are no monthly fees. - No advertisements are displayed. There are no additional charges. * The learning materials are included in the app, so you can read them even in areas without a signal (communication is only required when unlocking). * Learning records (answer history, reading status, review list) are saved only on your device. Account registration is not required. ■ How the learning materials are created * Articles, diagrams, and questions are all created independently by our company based solely on primary source materials. The framework is based on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Guidelines for the Creation of Examination Questions (created March 2022, partially revised April 2026)," and the legal provisions are based on the original text from e-Gov Legal Search. Past questions, example questions, commercially available question sets, official textbooks, and preparation websites are not used. * The above guidelines are sourced from those published under the Public Data Usage Terms (PDL1.0), and our company has restructured and modified them into articles, diagrams, and questions. They are not created by the government, nor do they represent the government's views. * AI is used for drafting articles and diagrams, and for creating similar questions (the AI does not operate within the app). * We then conducted extensive verification. We had another AI, with the answers concealed, solve all 774 questions and compared them to our predicted correct answers. We also checked the descriptions in the articles and questions against the original text of the guide. Any discrepancies were corrected to match the original text. * Our staff makes the decision on which materials to use as sources and whether they are permissible to publish. * We have not received supervision from qualified professionals or experts. We do not write "supervised." ■ About the Examination (Information confirmed from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's "Registered Salesperson Examination Implementation Guidelines" and publicly available materials from each implementing body) * The examination consists of 120 questions across 5 categories, with a total examination time of 240 minutes. The breakdown is as follows: 20 questions on common characteristics and basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, 20 questions on the workings of the human body and pharmaceuticals, 40 questions on major pharmaceuticals and their effects, 20 questions on laws and regulations concerning pharmaceuticals, and 20 questions on the proper use and safety measures of pharmaceuticals. * The examination is conducted by each prefecture. Exam dates, application periods, fees, and schedules vary by organization. In fiscal year 2026, they were spread out from August to December. Please check the exam guide for your area. * The actual exam is divided into two parts, 60 questions each, by most organizations, but the placement of each section (morning/afternoon) also varies. The app's practice exam covers all sections consecutively. * The passing criteria are "approximately 70% correct answers out of the total number of questions, and a certain percentage of correct answers for each exam section as determined by the prefectural governor." The percentage for each section is not uniform nationwide; it varies between 35% and 40% depending on the organization that has published its criteria. It is published annually after the exam. * The pass/fail judgment in the app is an estimate. The lower limit for each section is uniformly set at the stricter 40%. ■ About Purchases Two comprehension articles and 12 practice questions are available for free. Please purchase within the app only if you wish to use all of the rest. This is a one-time purchase (the price will be displayed on the purchase screen). After changing devices or reinstalling, you can reread the content from "Restore Purchase" (unlimited free rereads). ■ Coverage and Content Not Currently Included * Coverage includes all five examination items defined in the above guide. It also includes the "Things You Shouldn't Do" and "Things to Consult" sections in the separate table. * Pharmacist duties, the sale of prescription-only and Category 1 over-the-counter drugs, dispensing, and prescription drugs are not included. * Actual numerical values for passing criteria by prefecture and past exam trends are not covered (due to our policy of not opening pages with past questions and answers). * The guide is revised annually in principle. Parts revised after the exam announcement will not be included in that year's exam. The app is based on the April 2026 revised version. ■ About This Series This is part of the "Maniac-kun" series, which focuses on creating a sequential structure that allows users to follow the principles rather than simply increasing the quantity of content. The content is written separately for each qualification. ■ Please Note * This is a learning support app independently created by our company.
