About
ἄπορία opens to one thing: a philosophical question for today. No feed. No replies. No accounts. No notifications you didn't ask for. Just one question, in a quiet dark space, waiting for you to sit with it. The questions draw from the history of philosophy: Stoics, Zen, existentialists, ancient Greece. Each belongs to a theme, and each theme carries its own visual mood. The background shifts. The color shifts. The question stays. One question per day, selected without repetition until the full collection runs out, then reshuffled. The daily notification carries the actual question text, not a generic nudge. You can look back through your history at any time. Available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German. The app detects your language automatically. You can switch at any time. Nothing leaves your device. No internet connection required. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs. Everything is stored locally on your device. The name comes from Ancient Greek: aporia, a state of genuine puzzlement, of not knowing. The moment philosophy begins.Read more
