Watch videos and use screen mirroring only while parked, and always follow traffic laws. PERMISSIONS: WHAT THEY ARE FOR TeslAwesome only asks for the permissions it needs to work. • Accessibility service ("Touch controls"): lets you control your phone from the Tesla's touchscreen. When you tap or swipe on the car's screen, the app replays that gesture on the phone: taps, swipes, and the Back, Home and Recent apps buttons. This service does not read what is on your screen, does not collect any personal data and shares nothing with third parties. It only acts while you are using the app from your Tesla, and you can turn it off at any time in Android's accessibility settings. • Screen capture: to show your phone's screen on the car's display during screen mirroring. Android asks for your consent at every session. • Local VPN: only lets the Tesla's browser reach your phone. It stays on the device: no traffic is sent to an outside server and your other apps are not affected. • Microphone: to send your apps' sound to the car and for voice commands in Android Auto. • Bluetooth: to recognise your car and start automatically. • Notifications, display over other apps, modify system settings: to let you know when the car asks to connect, and to dim the phone's screen during screen mirroring.
