About
A Japanese-language study app for Japan's Class C Hazardous Materials Handler (丙種危険物取扱者) national exam. Please note: the interface, the questions and every explanation are in Japanese. Japanese reading ability is required. ■ What it is 250 original questions covering the Class C exam scope. Questions are original work by Particles and Waves, written from the Fire Service Act, related regulations, Fire and Disaster Management Agency materials and the subjects and question counts published by the Fire Service Examination Center. They are not reproductions of past exam papers. ■ Every choice explained Every choice carries its own explanation, not just the correct one. ■ Mock exams in the real format A half mock of 12 questions and a full mock of 25 questions. The pass criterion is 60% or more in every subject, and the app shows where you stand subject by subject against that bar. ■ Study plan and weak spots A daily target counted back from your exam date, a weakness loop for the questions you got wrong, a mode for questions you have not seen yet, and your study history. Just before the exam the app shows a look back at what you have covered. ■ About the qualification The Class C Hazardous Materials Handler is a national qualification under Japan's Fire Service Act. It is limited to specified Category 4 materials such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel and heavy oil, and is narrower in scope than Class B and Class A. Eligibility, exam dates and application procedures can change; always confirm them on the examining body's official site. ■ Auto-play review A hands-free mode that shows each answer automatically and moves on. Display time adapts to the length of the text and the pace is adjustable, so you can review when you cannot use your hands. ■ Offline and private Android 8.0 or later. Questions are bundled in the app, so you can study without a connection. The app goes online only to receive question corrections and to process a purchase. There is no account to create, and your study record stays on the device. ■ What is free 10 drill questions in total, one half mock exam (12 questions), and 3 days of the auto-play review mode. The free allowance does not reset daily. A single in-app purchase unlocks the rest. It is not a subscription, and there are no ads. See the In-app purchases line on this page for the current amount. ■ Report an error, get the fix without waiting for an update Errors in a question or explanation can be reported anonymously from inside the app. Confirmed corrections are delivered without an app update, and the correction history is published in the app. No personal account information is collected. ■ What is included ・250 original questions ・An explanation for every choice ・Half mock 12 questions / full mock 25 questions ・Study plan counted back from the exam date, and a weakness loop Supervised by a holder of the Class A (甲種) Hazardous Materials Handler licence. ■ Sources and relationship to government bodies ・Fire Service Examination Center (消防試験研究センター) https://www.shoubo-shiken.or.jp/kikenbutsu/ ・e-Gov law search, Fire Service Act https://laws.e-gov.go.jp/law/323AC1000000186 ・Fire and Disaster Management Agency, "What are hazardous materials" https://www.fdma.go.jp/laws/laws/laws003.html This is an unofficial study app made by Particles and Waves.
