About
Two ships. One screen. Shoot first. A game for two people and one phone. A ship sits at each end, a field of asteroids drifts between them, and you each get your own half to steer on. Shoot the rocks for points, shoot the other ship to take its hull down, and whoever is ahead when the clock runs out wins — unless somebody is destroyed first, which ends it on the spot. PASS IT ACROSS THE TABLE No second device, no account, nothing to wait for. Upright or sideways — the ships face each other along whichever edge is longer. Play a single round or a first-to-three; the app remembers your head to head. If one of you is older, give the other a head start — agreed beforehand, not buried in a menu. TWO GAMES THAT ARE NOT THE DUEL Tug-of-war puts one big rock in the middle. Every shot that lands shoves it toward the other player, and you win by pushing it past their line — no score, no hull, just ground taken and given back. Hot potato arms a mine with a countdown you can see. Shoot it and it goes to their side; whoever it goes off on loses a hull point, and the fuse shortens every crossing. The only mode here where not shooting is ever right. THREE TO EIGHT PEOPLE, ONE KNOCKOUT Put a group into a bracket and pass the phone round. Eight people take seven duels, not the twenty-eight a round robin costs. Pick a callsign; the bracket says who is up next. ON THE SAME SIDE, FOR ONCE Co-op turns the field against both of you: one shared hull pool, waves that keep coming, and any rock that drifts past either of you costs the pair. TWO DEVICES, ONE ROOM Both on the same Wi-Fi? One hosts, the other types the code off their screen, and you each get a whole display. No sign-in, no friend list, no strangers — the game does not even carry a device name. AGREED BEFORE, NEVER SPRUNG Round length, handicap, which power-ups turn up, callsigns, colours — and mines, if you both want them. Shoot a mine and it fires both ways at once: the blast belongs to nobody and is as likely to catch you. NO FIRE BUTTON A thumb can only do one job at a time, so the trigger is automatic and steering is all you do. What is left is the decision that was always the interesting one: where to point. • Drag on your half of the screen to fly up and down • A hit on the other ship is 150 points and one of their five hull points • Your shots keep going — a bolt fired at a rock carries on to whoever is behind it BUILD THE SHIP YOU FLY Pick a hull, wings, an engine and a trim colour, and keep four of them. It changes how your ship looks and nothing else — the body keeps your side's colour, so both players can still tell the two apart. WATCH IT BACK Every match is recorded. Play it back at half, full or double speed, and scrub to the moment it turned. WHEN THERE IS NOBODY TO PLAY Five pilots across fifty rungs, a boss every fifth. Every one flies the same ship you do, with the same cooldown and the same hull, and buys upgrades off the same list at the same prices. They do not cheat; they are simply better than you. Coins earned by playing buy plating, cooling, engines and bolt charge. None of it reaches a duel against a person — those two ships are always identical, whatever either of you has bought. There is also a daily field everybody gets, an endless run, and a practice range. Shoot a drifting crate to claim it: rapid fire, a triple shot, piercing bolts, overdrive, or a shield — and chasing one costs you shots you were not aiming at your rival. WHAT IT COSTS Nothing. There are no in-app purchases of any kind — coins are earned by playing and are worth nothing outside the app. Ads pay for it: a banner on the menus, and a full-screen ad on the summary after every fourth match. Never over the playfield, never mid-duel. Built to WCAG 2.2 AA: TalkBack reads the scoreboards and the app follows your device's Reduce Motion setting. Nothing is kept anywhere but the device that played it.Read more
