Every morning a new edition prints: a short run of questions that test what you know, ask for your take, and ask you to guess how everyone else answered. Tap an answer and it flies at the target as a paper ball, a basketball, a snapshot or a press stamp. Then the reveal shows how your neighbors, your state and the country answered, and every answer comes back with the story behind it. A few minutes a day. Something to know, something to share, something to discover. EVERY EDITION MIXES • Trivia Shot: test what you know, then learn the story behind the answer. Some open with a few wrong answers already crossed out, each labeled with why. • Your Shot: your take. Choose the answer that fits you. • Group Shot: guess what share of the country answered a certain way. Drag the wheel to your number and watch your estimate meet the result. • Super Shot: the main run's closer. Each miss takes your pick and one more, so keep choosing until you find it. The places are the Census Bureau's own, so a result about your town lines up with everyone else's numbers about it. Your answer joins the charts the next player sees, and local results come into focus as more people play. SECTIONS Finish the main run and the day's sections open underneath: Sports, Entertainment, Politics, Business and Local, each four questions ending on its own Final Shot. Recent Editions keeps today's edition and the six before it, so a day you missed can still be played. THE FULL REVEAL Finish a run and its Full Reveal rises: your answers, everyone else's, and the story behind every question, with a line of context for every plausible choice, not only the right one. Opinion results keep filling in as more people play, so open yesterday's edition to see how it came out. YOUR SCORE Answers score as you take them, and knowing it sooner is worth more. Reading is always free: a question's clock holds still while you read. Your finished edition prints as a stamped front page you can read again, replay without touching your record, or share as a spoiler-light card. Your Scores keeps your streaks and your accuracy over the last 7, 14 and 28 days. PLAY WITH FRIENDS One link invites a friend, or up to twelve at once. Friends get a private week of box scores, one cell a day. They see your PollShot name and your scores, never how you answered. MORNING OR EVENING Read it as the light morning edition or the dark evening edition. One switch in the header and the page reprints as you tap. SKIP IS ALWAYS THERE Skip sits beside every question as a real choice, not a wrong one. Nobody has to guess at an opinion they would rather not give. Questions are written to be neutral, results arrive only after you answer, and your responses appear only as part of a group, like "Austin: 71%", never as you. Opinions are counted, never graded.
