Glimra Publishers turns reading aloud into a small performance. You read aloud from the printed book, just like usual. The phone is next to you and listens. When you read certain words, something happens: the snow crunches under your boots, the wind picks up, a small bell rings. When the page is finished, the app switches to the next one, and the music follows. The child never needs to touch the phone. All the child sees is the book in your hands. HOW IT WORKS • Choose the book you want to read • Press Read and put the phone next to you • Read aloud from the printed book, as you usually do WITHOUT LETTING GO OF THE BOOK Say "Glimra pause", "Glimra continue" or "Glimra end" when you need a break. BEST SOUND Play the sound on a Bluetooth speaker without a microphone, a little distance away. Then the app can hear you better than when the sound comes from the phone. THE BOOKS Each book in the app is associated with a printed book from Glimra Publishing. The Nissegänget, for the youngest and for the slightly older. PRIVACY The app is free and does not require an account. The microphone is only used while you are reading, and is turned off when you finish.
