About

When can I give the next dose? Oh Fever answers that at a glance: on your phone, in a home screen widget and in a countdown notification. It is a calm fever and medicine diary for tired parents. It shows the dose per the leaflet of the product you pick (the row of its table for your child's weight and age, not an averaged formula), tracks the leaflet's intervals and daily limits and warns before they are crossed. No accounts, no ads. TEMPERATURE • Readings with the method: ear, forehead, armpit, oral, rectal • Colour-coded status from normal to high fever • 24 h, 48 h and 7-day chart with medicine doses on it • Notes and symptoms, backdated entries DOSE PER THE LEAFLET • Paracetamol (acetaminophen) and ibuprofen tracked separately • Dose in ml and mg from the leaflet table for your child's weight (and age), rounded to the marks on the pack's syringe and never above the leaflet • Products: Apap, Panadol, Pedicetamol, Paracetamol Hasco, Nurofen, Ibum, Ibufen, Ibuprom, MIG and suppositories • Your own product: the app does not suggest a dose; you enter it from its leaflet, and the app counts it toward the intervals and daily limits • Intervals per leaflet and dose (4, 6 or 8 h), daily limits on doses and mg • Warns before a dose that is too early, too large, over the daily limit, within an hour of the other fever medicine, or after more than 3 days of treatment. You can still log the dose; the decision stays yours. COUNTDOWN • Countdown to the next allowed dose in a home screen widget • A countdown notification for the next dose • Optional reminder when the wait is over (exact alarm, with your permission) FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY • "Everyone" screen: every child's status on one screen • "Give to everyone": log one dose for several children at once • Several children, each with their own profile and weight (Plus) • Free: one child with every feature. Plus is a one-time purchase, no subscription, and removes the child limit. CALCULATORS & GUIDE • Dose by weight, per the leaflet of the chosen product • Age-based "When to see a doctor" checklist • Fluids during a fever DATA, BACKUP, IMPORT • Backup to your Google account (encrypted) • Full JSON export anytime • Import from a JSON export file, handy when you switch phones REMINDER RELIABILITY • A reminder diagnostics screen shows permissions and delays when Android throttles notifications • A battery settings guide for phones that close background apps PRIVACY • Entries stay on your phone. No account, no ads, no cross-app tracking. • Pseudonymous, optional analytics (only "what happened", never values). Off by default: we ask for consent, and you can change it in Settings. • This app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any disease. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER This app is a tracking tool and does not give medical advice. Always check the leaflet, the strength on the pack and your paediatrician's advice. Seek medical help at once for a high fever, any fever in a baby under 3 months, or worrying symptoms. If more than one person gives medicine, confirm each dose with each other directly, not only through the app. Dosing sources: leaflets and Summaries of Product Characteristics of products sold in Poland; general guidance: NHS, NICE, American Academy of Pediatrics. Every leaflet table and every rule the app adds: ohfever.app/sources The product catalogue and leaflet tables cover medicines sold in Poland. In other countries, add your own product: copy the strength from the pack and the dose from its leaflet. More countries will be added over time, prioritised by demand. Requires Android 9 or later.Read more
