About
A coloring book for children aged 3 to 8 that teaches them something while they color. Tap a shape and it fills. Or pick up a crayon and scribble — the color stays inside the lines by itself, however roughly a small hand moves. That is the whole control scheme. Children who cannot read yet can use the entire app on their own. 220 PICTURES, AND A FACT ON EVERY ONE Color a butterfly and hear that butterflies taste with their feet. Color an apple tree and hear that you can count the rings in a trunk to find out how old it is. Every one of the 220 pictures has something true to say, read aloud in a warm voice, arriving as the picture fills so the lesson keeps pace with the child instead of talking over them. Any fact can be repeated, and the whole thing switches off in one tap. FIVE STORIES YOU COLOR YOUR WAY THROUGH Finish a scene and the story turns the page. A girl plants a seed and follows it to an apple tree. A boy walks on the moon. A diver finds a sunken ship, an explorer finds a valley full of dinosaurs, and an astronaut finds a cave full of crystals. Thirty-eight chapters, each one a picture to color. THREE WAYS TO COLOR • Free coloring — any color, any shape • Color by number — every shape says which crayon it wants, and picking up a crayon shows you where it goes. Choosing the wrong one does nothing at all; nothing is marked wrong and nothing is lost • A blank sheet, for drawing something of their own TWENTY SUBJECTS Animals, farm animals, dinosaurs, the ocean, space, vehicles, building sites, fairy tales, places around the world, nature, plants, insects, robots, fantasy creatures, people who help us, food, the seasons, bedtime, everyday things, and things that go. MADE FOR SMALL HANDS Big buttons. No reading. No timers, no scores, no streaks and nothing to win — it is a coloring book. Tapping the same shape again never spoils it, and undo always works. FOR PARENTS • Works offline. The pictures and the spoken facts are all on the device. • Nothing your child makes leaves the device unless you choose to send it. • Every finished picture is kept, so nothing your child makes is lost. • Print any page blank, to color on paper. • Anything that costs money or leaves the app sits behind a parental gate that a young child cannot pass.Read more

Occasional ads now help keep every picture and story free. They only appear between pictures, never while colouring, and are never personalised. A grown-up can remove them for good with a one-time purchase in Options.
