Scanpi is a document scanner and PDF reader: scan a document, read it as a PDF, annotate, sign, organise and convert it. No account needed. SCAN DOCUMENTS TO PDF • Point the camera at a document; crop the page and straighten the perspective. • Shoot page after page and get one multi-page PDF. • Crop, rotate and reorder; Document, Colour, Grey and Black & white filters. • Turn photos from your gallery into a PDF too. • Recognize text (OCR): the text on a scanned page becomes searchable. Recognition happens on your device. READ PDFS • Vertical or horizontal scrolling, zoom, thumbnail strip. • Contents, bookmarks, go to page, search in document. • Night mode; your last page is remembered. • Folders, tags and favourites; search by name and by content. ANNOTATE AND SIGN PDFS • Highlight, underline, strike through, draw with a pen. • Add text, notes, shapes and stamps. • Draw your signature or initials with your finger, save them and place them on any page. • Fill in PDF form fields. Everything above runs on your phone: for these tasks your file is never sent anywhere and no internet connection is needed. This can't be done on the phone, so the file you choose is sent to a server and deleted when the job is done. An internet connection is required. REVIEW WITH AI • Summarise: a short summary and the key points. • Explain: what the document says, in plain language. • Review: important points and things to watch out for. • Translate: into another language. No chat — one tap, one answer. For AI, only the document's text is sent, not the file. AI can be wrong; for important decisions, read the document yourself too. An internet connection is required. SCANPI PLUS The core of the app can be used without paying; this version shows ads, and some tools have a daily or periodic allowance.
