I just want to read the documents I received, but every time I open a document viewer, an ad pops up first and I'm prompted to log in. Bookmark is a document viewer designed to do the exact opposite. It has no ads, no account, and documents never leave the device. When you open the app, you are immediately in My Documents. ■ Formats Read Within the App PDF · PPTX · DOCX · XLSX · HWPX · EPUB · TXT · MD · Comic Book (CBZ) · ODT · ODS · ODP, and even older formats like HWP · DOC · XLS · PPT, all open directly within Bookmark without having to switch to another app. It remembers the exact page you were reading, regardless of the format. ■ A Ribbon Remembers Your Page Just like a bookmark inserted in a book, a ribbon marks the page you have read. When you open it again, it continues from where it left off. The page number is also written out in text. The paper thickness next to the cover indicates the number of pages in the document. The thicker the paper, the longer the document. ■ Received Documents Gather in the Library Documents received via messenger, text message, or email can be added to the library by selecting a bookmark in 'Open in another app'. Files saved on your phone can be added using 'Find File'. Documents received today are displayed first under 'New Arrivals'. ■ Large Text, Large Buttons We designed the screen so that the text does not become distorted even when enlarged. Buttons are always given Korean names instead of just icons. Zoom ranges from 50% to 300% in 10% increments. The app remembers the viewing size for each document. For scanned documents with wide margins, you can use 'Crop Margins to View Large' to fill the text area completely. ■ Four Viewing Modes Single Page Turn · Continuous Vertical View · Open Two Pages · Skim Read manuals or textbooks one page at a time, theses or contracts in continuous vertical view, and e-books open two pages. You can choose between bright, yellow, or dark screen settings, and the screen does not turn off automatically while you are reading. It is also possible to automatically flip through pages at regular intervals. ■ Opens immediately even with many pages Since it draws only the necessary pages without reading the entire document in advance, manuals of thousands of pages or slides of hundreds open without waiting. ■ What is drawn and what is not Text, shapes, tables, and images are drawn exactly as they are. For PPTX and PPT, slides are flipped one by one. Screen transition effects, animations, and charts are not drawn. Only what is necessary for reading is displayed. Since it is read-only, the original file is not modified or deleted. ■ Documents do not leave the device The read document, the page you were reading, the file name, and the cover image all remain within the device. There is no function to send the document to a server. The only things the app sends out are when the app was opened, the device type, app version, and country, and how the app was used (what format was opened, how long it was viewed, what features and settings were used, and how fast and smoothly the screen loaded). It is counted anonymously without an account and has nothing to do with the content of the document.
