About
LedgerMan keeps a company's books. This app is the part of that work done away from a desk. Photograph a bill the moment you have it. It goes to your company's server and waits to be filed against the bank line it belongs to - and if the date and the amount make the match obvious, the app offers that line straight away. WHAT IT DOES • Photograph a bill, crop it to the paper, and send it • Or choose one already on your phone: a screenshot of a payment, a PDF a supplier emailed • See the month's bank lines - what is classified, what still wants a receipt • File a bill against a line, and say how much of the line it covers when one payment carried two bills • Keep other paper against a line: a payment confirmation, the bank's advice, an agreement • Claim back what you paid personally - collect the bills, then send the claim for payment • See where the books stand: this month, this year, and what is waiting on somebody FOR INDIAN COMPANIES Amounts are written the way they are read here: 1,08,91,305.33, not 10,891,305.33. The financial year runs April to March. GST and TDS belong to the books rather than to a spreadsheet beside them. DOUBLE-ENTRY, KEPT PROPERLY Every entry balances. Nothing reaches the ledger without an account on both sides of it, and a line is not finished until the paperwork behind it is there. YOU WILL NEED AN ACCOUNT LedgerMan is used by companies, and your administrator creates your account - there is no sign-up in the app. Your books live on your own company's server.Read more
