About
Turn your commute into a journey toward the center of Earth. FactDigger is a vertical retro digging game starring a charming pixel-art office worker. Explore unknown layers one cell at a time and see how deep you can go. There are no enemies chasing you and no frantic action controls. Choose your direction, study the terrain, and dig at your own pace. If your train reaches the next stop or you need to transfer, pause instantly and continue from your saved position later. FEATURES ■ Simple one-handed controls Use the directional buttons at the bottom of the screen to move and dig. FactDigger is easy to play during a short commute, break, or wait. ■ Explore Earth in 10-meter cells Descend from the surface through topsoil, aquifers, deep bedrock, and the upper mantle. Colors and hazards change as you travel deeper, with short geology facts appearing at major milestones. ■ Plan your route Unexplored cells may contain solid rock, buried trash, underground water, magma, or a rare relic. When an obstacle blocks your path, dig sideways and search for a safer route. ■ Every ladder is 10 meters long A ladder is placed across each 10-meter vertical section you descend. Digging a stepped route lets you return by moving sideways between the ladders you left behind. Dig straight down for 20 meters or more, however, and the ladder cannot reach the upper section. Building an escape route is part of the challenge. ■ Escape underground water Discovering underground water starts a four-second escape countdown. Press Up in time and retreat with your 10-meter emergency ladder. Digging into magma ends the run immediately. ■ Designed for silent play FactDigger uses no music, sound effects, or vibration. You will never miss important information while your iPhone is muted, making it comfortable to play on trains and in quiet places. ■ Pause and resume anytime Your run is saved automatically when the app moves to the background. Sudden train transfers are no problem. If you leave during a flood countdown, the timer stops so the game will not end while you are away. ■ A challenge without enemies There are no moving enemies, normal time limits, or idle penalties. Take your time, improve your depth, score, combos, and personal best, and keep digging toward the depths of Earth. Put on your blue work helmet, straighten your red tie, and join FactDigger for a small underground adventure on your next commute.Read more
