About

You do not steer the pickaxe. You choose where it falls, and then you live with it. Aim over the mouth of the shaft, let go, and the pick drops into the dark. It bounces off stone, chops whatever it rests on, and carves its own crooked cavern downward. Every contact costs it a point of health, so each drop is a small, finite life: the deeper it goes, the closer it is to breaking. Your hands are not idle. The instant the pick lands after a fall it glows gold — tap in that window and the strike lands perfect: triple damage, the health refunded, the screen catching for a beat. Mistime it and the combo dies and you wait. Random tapping never works; the rhythm has to be read. Some rock simply will not yield to the tool you are holding. A stone pick bounces off iron and tells you so. That is what the bombs are for: craft them at the Powder House, throw one mid-fall as time crawls to a sixth of speed, and open a path through the rock your pick cannot touch. Whatever you haul up belongs to the village. Stone, copper, iron, gold and gems go into the forge for a harder pickaxe, into the market for coins, and into buildings that change the next run — deeper starting shafts, more bombs in your pocket, richer seams. Progress is gated by material, not by grinding: an iron pick needs iron, and iron is found, not bought. Everything is drawn from code — an original pixel font, procedural stone and ore, sounds synthesised for this game. It runs entirely on your device with no account, no login, and no connection needed to play. Pickfall is free: no ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking. Every drop comes with the same three bonuses for everyone: a free bomb before you drop, a second chance when the pick breaks, and a doubled haul at the end. Drop it. Watch it work. ---Read more
