Alon's Leap: Cosmic Checkers

Leap far. Think further. Alon's Leap is a strategy board game for two, played on a glass board in the middle of a nebula. Each side has nine pieces in one corner, and the goal is simple: get all nine into the opposite corner before your opponent does. How it plays • Move one square: up, down, left or right. No diagonals. • Or leap: empty square, piece, empty square, and you land three squares ahead. That's Alon's Leap. • After a leap you can leap again, and again. A good chain crosses the whole board in one turn. • Nobody gets captured: every piece on the board, yours or theirs, is a stepping stone.
