About

Understand what stresses you, with no account and no server: your health data never leaves your iPhone. DeepStress looks through your Apple Health data for moments when your body drifts from its usual baseline, and suggests a plausible explanation based on what was happening around you: meetings, deadlines, places you visited, mood you logged, screen time. It all happens on your iPhone • Analysis, explanations and summaries are computed and written on the device, even offline. No account, no server, no cloud, no ads, no tracking. • Your health data, calendar, reminders, screen time and journal never leave your iPhone. Nothing is synced or shared, and the developer never has access to it. • Texts are written by Apple Intelligence’s language model, which runs on the device, when it’s available, or by built-in text templates otherwise. • The only exception, if you allow location access: to name a visited place, its coordinates are sent to Apple’s geocoding service, never to the developer. • Deleting the app deletes all its data. Stress often shows in the body before you notice it: resting heart rate creeping up, heart rate variability dropping, a shorter night. Every day, DeepStress compares your measurements with your own baseline, built from the previous 28 days, and shows you what may have played a part. What you get • Today: a daily stress score from 0 to 100, for guidance only, and your key metrics against your baseline. • Anomalies: each clear deviation, with the measured value, your baseline, nearby events and a cautious explanation. • Timeline: your heart rate across the day, episodes of high heart rate at rest, and what surrounded them. • Summaries: every evening and every week, a written summary of the period, with a reminder notification. • Journal: log a stressful moment in seconds, and find the places you visited. • Places: label your home, work or gym for more accurate explanations. • Your feedback: “It was stressful” or “False alarm” on each anomaly. With Apple Health DeepStress reads data from the Health app, and never writes to it: heart rate, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, overnight temperature, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, steps, active energy, workouts, mindfulness and State of Mind. It can come from an Apple Watch or any device or app that writes to Health. You choose what to share and can change your mind at any time. With Screen Time (optional) If you allow it, DeepStress measures the time you spend in four groups of apps you choose: messaging and email, social media, work, video and games. It only sees durations per group, never content or app names, and everything stays on the device. That way it can link an anomaly to a long stretch of messaging just before, or to late-night screen time, and it sums up your screen time in summaries. No app is ever blocked. Good to know • DeepStress needs at least 7 days of Health data to build your baseline. If your device has been recording for a few weeks, results show up right away. • “Always” location access lets the app note visited places even when it’s closed. Every permission is optional. • Free, with no in-app purchases. In English and French. DeepStress is not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose anything and doesn’t replace advice from a health professional; its score is for guidance only. If you have any doubt about your health, see a doctor.Read more
