Climbo Esper

Climbo Esper turns your phone into a precision setting-out instrument for training climbing plants against a wall. Point your camera at any brick wall, stretch the measurement band across a run of courses, and the app reads the wall from its own coursing — deriving the full height, every legal drilling height, and the available clear training field in seconds. Choose from ten proven training forms — cordons, espaliers, fans, and more — and Climbo Esper draws each tier onto your actual wall, snapping wire lines to real bed joints. Drop obstruction pins on downpipes, vents, window reveals, and damp-proof course lines so every tier lands where you can actually drill. When the plan is set, the app produces a complete setting-out sheet: tier heights in millimetres, eye counts, wire gauge, stand-off distances, and a full fixings take-off covering screw eyes, straining bolts, ferrules, and tensioners. Save the sheet to your photo library and carry it straight outside. A built-in plant library covers twelve classic wall plants — wisteria, climbing rose, fig, grape vine, clematis, espalier apple and pear, and more — each with climbing habit, pruning regime, aspect preference, and load class drawn from trade practice. The season rail then generates a month-by-month calendar of tying-in, pruning, tensioning, and checking jobs specific to your chosen form and plants. No account, no subscription, no network connection required. Climbo Esper works entirely offline, stores everything locally, and is built for gardeners, horticulturalists, and landscape contractors who are serious about getting wall-trained planting right.
