DuvexaRalmino

DuvexaRalmino is a pocket-sized bookbinding studio for making hand-bound books. It calculates the pages, signatures, spine thickness, the amount of thread needed and the cutting dimensions for the cover boards for you, so the book opens evenly and withstands use. • Signatures: choose the number of folds (1–4), see how many pages one sheet produces and calculate the number of signatures needed. • Spine thickness: spine width calculated from the paper weight (80–160 gsm), the number of leaves and the cover boards. • Sewing patterns: Coptic, Japanese, French or long stitch, plus planning of needle stations. • Thread amount: estimates the length of linen thread based on the spine height, the stations and the signatures. • Cover boards: cut two covers and a spine strip with the correct overhang and hinge gap. • Pressing and drying: a step-by-step work order from gluing to pressing and drying. • Materials list and a shareable bookbinding instruction sheet. The app suits bookbinders, artists and craft hobbyists. All calculations happen on your device, and no account or login is required. Bind your own book with precise measurements and clear instructions.
