About
MySilenceLog keeps a record of how quiet the places you visit are, so you can compare them. Instead of trying to remember whether that café was quiet, you can look it up. When you head out with your laptop, pick your next place to work from your own records. FEATURES - Measure in 30 seconds Tap the button and the app listens through your iPhone's microphone for 30 seconds. You get a relative level from 0 to 100 and one of four bands: Quiet, Normal, Busy, or Loud. You can stop early at any time. - Save it with a place name When the measurement is done, save it under a name like "City Library" or "Café Ruhe". Recently used names are one tap away, so repeat visits build up under the same place. You can add a note, too. - Compare places, quietest first Measurements are grouped by place and sorted by average level, so the quietest place is at the top. You can switch to newest first. - Quiet by time of day Each place shows its average for morning, midday, evening, and night, along with its full history. Find out that a café is quiet in the morning. - Everything stays on this iPhone The microphone is used only while measuring. The audio itself is never saved or sent; only the numbers are kept. No account, no sign-in. NOTE Levels are relative values measured with your device's microphone. This is not a sound level meter (dB), so use it to compare places. GREAT FOR - Finding a place to work at cafés or coworking spaces - Knowing where you can focus on studying or reading - Checking the quietness that reviews never mention No in-app purchases. No ads.Read more
