About

Your film negatives, turned into photos with the colour of a classic lab scan. Photograph a roll on a light with any camera — a mirrorless on a copy stand, or your iPhone over an iPad showing white — bring the pictures in from Photos or Files, and every frame becomes a finished positive at full resolution. CLASSIC LAB COLOUR • On by default: every frame balanced on its own, with dense blacks, warm skin and greens that lean teal — the look of the minilab scanners of the film years. Slides are printed with the same lab look. Switch to Neutral for a flat scan to grade elsewhere. READ LIKE A LAB SCANNER • Conversion in density: the orange mask of colour negative divided out using the film's own base, each dye layer balanced between the frame's darkest and brightest detail. • Colour negative, black-and-white and slide. • RAW of any make, DNG, ProRAW, 16-bit TIFF, HEIC, JPEG and PNG, read at their full size and bit depth. 37 FILM LOOKS • Starting points in the spirit of popular colour, black-and-white and slide stocks — Portrait 400, Golden 200, Cine 800T, Press 400, Pan 50, Vivid 50, Chrome 100 and many more. Each is our own model of that kind of print, and always editable. A PRINTER'S CONTROLS, AT ONCE • The picture and its figures follow your finger live: exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, warmth, tint, saturation and grain, with wide ranges and fine control around zero; a double tap on any slider puts it back to zero. • C-41 colour balance: cyan–red, magenta–green and yellow–blue, like an enlarger's colour head. • Pinch or double-tap the picture to zoom in and check focus, grain and dust. • Done with a frame? Swipe the picture or tap Next frame to move straight on through the roll. • Take the film base from the rebate, or tap something grey to balance exactly. • Crop to 35 mm 3:2, 6×6, 6×7, 4:3, 16:9 or freely; rotate in quarter turns, mirror, straighten and square the perspective. Nothing is destroyed. KEEP IT • Full resolution, always: 10-bit HEIF in Display P3 to Photos, a JPEG to share, or a 16-bit TIFF to keep editing. • Rolls kept together with the film they were shot on; star the keepers and save them in one go. • Your photos, on film: print any picture from your library in one of the film looks. • Light table: a second device shows an even white light for the negative. SIRI AND SHORTCUTS • “New roll in Filmlume” starts a roll of the film and format you name; “Import negatives into Filmlume” opens Photos over your latest roll. DESIGNED FOR iPHONE AND iPAD • Layouts for every current iPhone and iPad screen, in portrait and landscape. Requires iOS 17 or later. PRIVACY • No account and nothing uploaded: scans stay on your device until you save or share them. ONE-TIME PURCHASE • Filmlume is unlocked by a single in-app purchase: no subscription, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. • Before buying you can start a three-day free trial — an in-app item that costs nothing — which unlocks everything; when it ends, the app waits to be unlocked. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. • Restore it at no cost on every iPhone and iPad signed in to the same Apple Account. • Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. DISCLAIMER Scan only film you own or have the right to copy, for your own use.
