About
Telzam is the precision workshop companion every timber-bender has been waiting for. Whether you work with steam, bent lamination, kerf cuts or a bending iron, Telzam crunches the geometry for you — form radius, ply count, ply thickness, steam time, kerf spacing, and a full ordinate table for setting out your form on the floor. Enter your design radius, wood species, stock thickness and glue type, and the Rod gives you everything you need to cut the form and prep the stock before a single piece of wood hits the steam box. As your glue-ups build up, Telzam gets smarter. Log each bend with on-form and released photos, pin points on the image to measure the actual released radius, and tag any faults with their cause and fix. After three or more closed glue-ups, the app switches from rule-of-thumb springback estimates to predictions calibrated against your own shop data — so the form you cut next time is dialled in to your species, your glue, and your process. The built-in reference library covers fourteen timber species (from White Oak to Sapele), six bending methods with step-by-step instructions, six adhesive types with open times and creep ratings, eight common faults with remedies, and ten kit items to help you spec your setup. Everything links together — a compression wrinkle fault links straight to the relevant method; a glue entry informs the springback model. It is the reference shelf and the bench calculator in one app. Track your shop's performance in the Log tab: total glue-ups, mean springback, best species, and sparklines across your full history. Save printable form cards for any glue-up. Telzam keeps your workshop knowledge in one place so each new bend benefits from every bend you have already made.Read more
