About
Gave Edge is the dedicated workshop companion for kintsugi practitioners. Whether you are repairing a treasured bowl or refining your technique across a full shelf of pieces, Gave Edge calculates every pass, gate time, and material quantity so you can focus entirely on the work itself. Photograph your broken vessel and place numbered seam pins directly onto the image. Classify each joint - butt, chip, bridge, hairline, spall, or craze - and record its gap grade and dimensions. Gave Edge reads those measurements against your piece's body material and room conditions, then builds a complete multi-stage repair programme covering bond, fill, level, coat, and gild. Every gate duration is live: adjust the temperature and humidity dials and the entire calendar re-flows in real time, shifting all planned passes and cure windows across your full collection. The material take-off screen gives a precise gram breakdown of all eight materials for every stage, including your gold powder budget in milligrams. The bench book keeps your kit list and fault guide one tap away, and each fault remedy writes a corrective pass directly into your open programme. When all coats are laid, draw a finished docket - a single-sheet record of every pass and cure date - and save it to your photo library. Gave Edge works entirely on-device. No account, no subscription, no network connection required. Your bench data stays on your device, exactly where your work is.Read more
