Batosh Zusta

Batosh Zusta takes the guesswork out of rainwater harvesting. Whether you have one barrel under a downpipe or a full chain of water butts feeding a kitchen garden, Batosh Zusta runs a day-by-day simulation of your entire roof catchment system across a full year — so you know exactly how many days your barrels will run dry before they happen. Set up your roof sections, barrel chains, and garden beds in minutes. Choose from 14 built-in climate profiles covering maritime, Mediterranean, semi-arid, monsoon, and more, or dial in your own custom profile. The simulation engine calculates roof runoff (accounting for material efficiency and first-flush losses), barrel fill and overflow, and garden water demand using evapotranspiration and crop coefficients — the same science used by irrigation engineers, made simple for home growers. When rain is forecast, Storm Check shows exactly how much your roof will catch, whether your barrels have room for it, and whether you should drain some water first to avoid overflow. The What If screen ranks every possible improvement — an extra barrel, reduced first-flush depth, mulching a thirsty bed, linking downpipes — by the number of dry days each would save. Barrel Sizer plots the curve between storage and dry days and recommends how many standard barrels you actually need. The Growing tool tells you how much more garden you could support without increasing your shortfall. A 14-day watering calendar shows day-by-day coverage so you always know when mains water will and will not be needed. Batosh Zusta is for homeowners, allotment holders, and gardeners who want their rainwater system to work harder. Supports both metric and imperial units. Works fully offline.
