About

Ateeq walks with you through Hajj and Umrah, step by step. At every station it shows what to do, what to say and what to watch for, as explained by Shaykh Abdulaziz ibn Baz, may Allah have mercy on him. Two complete journeys • Umrah in ten stations, from preparing to travel and entering ihram at the miqat to tawaf, sa'i and leaving ihram. • Hajj in eleven stations, from ihram and the Day of Tarwiyah to Arafah, Muzdalifah, the stoning and the farewell tawaf, in all three forms: tamattu', qiran and ifrad. Tawaf and sa'i counters • The tawaf counter draws the Kaaba and where you are in the circuit, with the sunnahs of each circuit and what to say between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone. • The sa'i counter knows where you are between Safa and Marwah and puts the remembrance for each in front of you. • A light tap with every circuit, and the screen stays on until you finish. The in-flight ihram alert • Choose your route and arrival time, and a notification tells you to get ready, then another when it is time to enter ihram, even with the app closed. Duas and dua trusts • The rite duas in their places, collections for every need, search, favourites and your own duas. • Dua trusts: note who asked you to pray for them and what they asked, and find the list waiting for you on Safa and Marwah, in tawaf and on the Day of Arafah. Preparation • A checklist of what to pack and prepare before you travel, with room for your own items. A touch of faith • A pause at every station, a verse or hadith for its moment, a daily glimpse on the home screen, and a welcome with the talbiyah. Dates and tasbeeh • Hijri and Gregorian dates together, a converter between the calendars, the days of Hajj with their dates, and a count to the Day of Arafah. • A tasbeeh that counts your dhikr with a tap, towards a target you choose, with a tap of the phone when a round is complete. Your look and accessibility • Six refined colour palettes or colours of your own, in light or dark mode. • Text sizes for the app and the duas, bolder text, higher contrast, wider line spacing, reduced motion, and screen readers announce every circuit. Your privacy Ateeq collects no data and needs no account and no internet. Everything you write stays on your device. It is free and open source.Read more
