About
Someone sent you an email with a winmail.dat attachment, or a message saved as a .msg file, and your iPhone won't open it. Lettrette opens both in an instant and shows the message as it was meant to look. THE WHOLE MESSAGE, AS SENT • From, to, cc, date and subject, each one easy to copy. • The body in its original HTML, rich text or plain text, with its pictures in place. • Messages attached to messages open too, as deep as they go. • Meeting invitations show when, where and who, and go to Calendar. Contact cards go to Contacts. GET THE ATTACHMENTS OUT Preview any attachment, swipe through them all, and share or save them to Files. OPEN FROM ANYWHERE In Mail, tap the attachment and choose Share › Lettrette. In Files, just tap it. AirDrop works too. On iPad, a sidebar keeps the messages you opened. QUICK LOOK IN FILES AND MAIL Lettrette adds previews, so a winmail.dat or .msg attachment shows its message, sender and attachments right where it is. EXPORT Save any message as .eml, which every mail app opens, or as PDF in A4 or US Letter. READS WHAT OTHERS CANNOT Written from the published file format specifications: compressed rich text, HTML hidden inside rich text, old 8-bit messages in Japanese, Chinese, Cyrillic and other scripts, calendar items, contacts and signed messages. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Lettrette never connects to the internet. Nothing you open leaves your device, and remote images in messages are never loaded, so senders can't tell you opened them. No account, no tracking. ALSO ON THE MAC Buy once and Lettrette is yours on iPhone, iPad and Mac, where it adds Quick Look to Finder and batch export. Requires iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 or later.Read more
