Lumotext

Read aloud anything you want to get through, and follow every word as it's spoken. Lumotext turns articles, PDFs, notes and pages into something you can listen to while you read. Each sentence and word lights up as the voice reaches it, so your eyes stay on the line instead of drifting. The voice sets the pace, the highlight holds your place. Free to download and use with your device's voices. No character limit. == Features == • Follow along, word by word Three levels of highlighting at once: the paragraph, the sentence and the current word. Tap any paragraph to start reading from exactly there. • Everything you read, in one library Paste text, import a PDF, text or Markdown file, or save a web page. PDFs open in their real page layout with the highlight moving across the page. • Scan printed pages Point your camera at a book or handout and Lumotext reads the text back to you. Recognition happens on your device. • Dictate instead of typing Speak a note or a draft and listen back to it. • Listen your way Any speed, a voice picker with every high-quality voice on your device, adjustable text size and highlight colors, and light or dark mode. • Keeps reading in the background Lock your phone or switch apps and the voice carries on, with controls on the lock screen. • One account, every device Your library and reading position sync between iPhone, iPad and the web app at lumotext.com.
