About
Your contact information. Your choice. PrivateCard helps you stay in touch without sharing every detail. Choose what each person can see, then message or call through the app while keeping your real phone number private. CHOOSE WHAT YOU SHARE Share selected details from your profile. Phone Number can stay off while PrivateCard Messages or PrivateCard Calls are on. Profile photos are optional, with separate sharing permission. CONNECT YOUR WAY Scan a PrivateCard QR, search an exact discoverable username, or choose one person from iPhone Contacts to invite. Username search and accepting a request do not reveal private profile fields or enable communication. Each person chooses their own permissions. An active public QR share shows its selected details to anyone holding the link, including someone it is forwarded to. NEW CHAT CONTENT, ENCRYPTED AUTOMATICALLY New supported text messages, photos and videos use end-to-end encryption. PrivateCard servers do not hold the private keys needed to read that ordinary encrypted content. You can optionally compare three numbers through another trusted channel for extra assurance about a contact’s devices. Photos and videos are processed to remove source location, camera metadata and original filenames before sending. Details visible or audible in the media remain. CALL THROUGH PRIVATECARD Use internet voice calls without exchanging real phone numbers. Both people need PrivateCard, internet access and the required permissions. View call history, mute your microphone, use speaker or end the call. CHANGE ACCESS LATER Edit, expire, revoke or restore shared access using the existing share. These controls affect future access through PrivateCard; they cannot recall information, messages or media someone already saved. CONTROLS FOR YOUR ACCOUNT Use optional App Lock with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. Manage authorized devices, block unwanted communication, report concerns and delete your account from Settings. Save a password-protected Account Recovery file before changing phones. It reconnects account access but does not restore old encryption keys or verified status. Keep the device that can read your earlier encrypted history. IMPORTANT LIMITS Earlier messages marked Not encrypted have different protection and remain readable by the service. Shared profile details, network and delivery information, and content submitted separately in reports or support are not covered by chat encryption. Phone-number privacy is not anonymity or IP-address hiding. Account deletion does not erase another person’s history or saved copies. PrivateCard calls are internet calls, not a replacement for emergency services. Features depend on permissions, connectivity and service availability. PrivateCard is for users at least 18 years old who are adults and legally able to use the service where they live. Support: https://zenithgroupllc.net/supportRead more
