MetroGo BD: Metro Fare

MetroGo BD makes Dhaka Metro Rail (MRT Line-6) simple. Check the fare between any two stations, find the station nearest to you, follow your trip stop by stop, and see your MRT Pass or Rapid Pass balance, in Bangla or English, even without mobile data. PLAN A TRIP IN SECONDS • Pick where you start and where you are going, or let the app start from the station nearest to you. • See the single-journey ticket fare and the MRT Pass / Rapid Pass fare (10% discount) side by side, with how much you save. • Number of stops and estimated travel time for every trip. • Swap direction with one tap. FULL FARE CHART • The complete fare chart for every Line-6 station in one table. • Pinch to zoom, drag to explore, and tap any fare to plan that trip. NEAREST STATION • GPS shows the three stations closest to you and how far away they are. • Tap one to start your trip from there. • Location is only used when you choose to turn it on, and the app explains why before asking. LIVE JOURNEY TRACKING • While the app is open, MetroGo BD follows your trip station by station. • Your current station is highlighted, the next stop is marked, and stations you have passed fade out. • A live dot moves along the route line between stations. • Follow your route on the Home screen or on the full Metro Line map. MRT PASS & RAPID PASS BALANCE (NFC) • Hold your card to the back of your phone to read its balance. • See recent trips and top-ups with date, time and stations. • Your history keeps growing: the card holds only its last 20 entries, but every scan adds new ones to what the app has already saved. • Save several cards and give them names, like "Office card". • Export a backup file and import it on a new phone. • After your first scan, your balance appears at the top of the Home screen. • Needs a phone with NFC. Without NFC, every other feature still works. WORKS OFFLINE • Fares are built into the app, so you can check them anywhere without internet. • When fares change, tap Sync in Settings to download the latest fare chart. YOUR PRIVACY • No account, no sign-up, no ads and no tracking. • Your location and card data stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
