About
[Product Positioning] A tool for simulating the tactile sensation of TCM pulse conditions and practicing pulse differentiation. [Why We Built It] Pulse diagnosis is highly practical. Beginners may gain thorough theoretical knowledge from extensive reading yet struggle to identify pulses when placing their fingers on the wrist. Genuine pulse sensations are built through repeated touching, comparison and verification. Reading a text a hundred times cannot match feeling the pulse a hundred times with your own fingers. [What It Can Do] It simulates the 28 classic pulse conditions, allows adjustment of tactile sensitivity and pulse differentiation practice, enabling you to experience various pulses anytime, for repeated palpation, comparison and identification. - Pulse Simulation — The 28 pulses are categorized under the six fundamental pulse attributes: floating, deep, slow, rapid, deficient and excess. Tap a pulse name, and the corresponding pulse sensation appears under your fingers. The screen simultaneously displays a pulse waveform matching the tactile experience. - Palpation Depth Switch — Place your index, middle and ring fingers respectively on Cun, Guan and Chi positions. Move your fingers up and down to switch between superficial, medium and deep palpation. There is also a "Pulse-Taking Mode": it responds only when your fingers press down, and stops when lifted. - Tactile Challenge — Random pulse quizzes. Identify the pulse solely by the sensation under your fingers. You have three attempts. Correct answers will record your winning streak; wrong answers will be added to the review list. - Bilingual Chinese & English — Full interface language toggle. Pulse names are translated according to their meanings, while preserving classic descriptive imagery such as "like wood floating on water" and "like pearls rolling on a plate". [Usage Notes] - Requires iPhone 7 or later models - Remove your phone case; protective cases will significantly reduce tactile intensity - You may adjust the upper and lower intensity limits in Settings to set faint pulses to a just-perceptible level [Important Disclaimer] This application is developed for the study of traditional Chinese medicine pulse culture. It is NOT a medical device, cannot perform medical diagnosis, and does not constitute medical advice or health guidance. Please seek medical attention promptly if you feel unwell. Turn pulse descriptions from books into sensations under your fingers.Read more
