About

SafeLook opens HTML pages and other files safely, without ever going online. Lesson materials, HTML attachments from email, exported reports and manuals: open HTML pages, PDFs, images, video, audio and text files right on this device. If a page tries to load images or scripts from the web, the request is blocked, including images that report when a message is opened. Tapping a link never opens another website or Safari. WHERE IT HELPS - School and home: lessons from teachers and parents, safe on a child’s iPad - Email attachments: check HTML newsletters, invoices and notices without reaching the internet - Work: exported reports and manuals open as whole folders, and confidential files never leave the device - Kiosks and front desks: full screen with Guided Access keeps just the page on screen WHAT IT OPENS - HTML, including folders and ZIP files with relative CSS, JavaScript and images - PDF, with in-document links and outlines - Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, HEIC and more - Video and audio: MP4, MOV, MP3, M4A and more - Text: TXT, CSV and Markdown HOW TO ADD FILES - Put them in the SafeLook folder in the Files app (ZIP files are unpacked automatically) - Use the Share menu in Mail, Google Classroom, Teams and other apps - Tap + to pick files or a folder, including cloud drives - Drag and drop on iPad, or AirDrop from a Mac ORGANIZE AND FIND - Folders inside folders. Move and rename with a touch and hold - Filter by the day you received a file: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days - Search file names and the text inside HTML, PDF and text files - Keep favorites at the top EASY TO READ - Text size, back and forward - Picks up where you left off - Full screen. With Guided Access, you can show just the page SAFETY - The app does not connect to the internet - Links inside PDFs and videos do not open either - Nothing is sent to other devices with AirPlay - No account and no ads. Your files stay on this device The Safety Test at the end of the built-in Getting Started page shows the blocking for yourself.Read more
