CX Aviation Weather

CX Weather turns raw aviation weather into a briefing you can actually read, on a screen that looks like the sky you're flying into. Search any airport by ICAO code or name, or pick one nearby, and get the current METAR and TAF alongside a plain-English interpretation written for pilots. Ask follow-up questions in chat: what the ceiling is doing over the next three hours, whether the crosswind is inside your limits, which approach fits the conditions. FEATURES • A living sky: the whole app shifts with the weather. Clear days glow, storms flicker, snow falls, nights fill with stars • Destination imagery for the city you're headed to • Current conditions (METAR) and forecasts (TAF) straight from aviationweather.gov • AI briefing of every report, written on device by Apple Intelligence, with the reasoning spelled out • Follow-up chat about the weather at your airport, also on device • TAF periods shown in the airport's local time, with at-a-glance weather icons • Runways with live crosswind and headwind components • Instrument approaches with links to the current FAA terminal procedure plates • Nearby airports from your location, plus recent searches • Pull to refresh, works on iPhone and iPad The AI briefing and chat use Apple Intelligence and need iOS 26 on an iPhone 15 Pro or later, or an iPad with an M1 or A17 Pro chip or later. Everything else works on any supported device, and nothing you ask leaves your device. CX Weather is a planning aid. It does not replace an official preflight briefing, NOTAMs, or your own judgment.
