Backtrack: Travel Map Video

Your travel photos become a map, a route and a video. Backtrack finds the trips in your iPhone photo library, organizes the photos by day on a map and animates the path you took between places. In a few taps, the trip becomes a video to share. FIND YOUR TRIPS • Automatic discovery: tell the app where you live and it separates trips from everyday life. • Or pick the dates and see that period's photos right away. • Works with old trips from any year, as long as the photos have a location. • Live trips: traveling now? The app notices new photos away from home and suggests the trip. EVERY TRIP ON A MAP • Photos organized by day, with the places and the trip's statistics. • A Map tab with all your destinations on a world map. • Change the cover and pick the best photos of each stop. AN ANIMATED ROUTE • An animation follows the path between places and shows the photos of each stop. • On foot, by car, boat or plane: fix any segment whenever you like. • Day titles with the night sky and the weather from your photos. VIDEOS READY TO SHARE • MP4 in 9:16 for Reels, Stories and TikTok, 3:4 for the Instagram feed, or 1:1, 4:3 and 16:9. • The video is saved to your library and kept in the app to share anytime. ACHIEVEMENTS • Days traveled, countries and continents visited, milestones, a travel calendar and a flag collection. • Every achievement becomes a card to share. YOUR PHOTOS STAY YOURS Backtrack reads the date and place your iPhone already stores in each photo. Your original photos are never changed. PLANS The free plan includes the trip library, maps, achievements, live trips, one automatic discovery of a past trip and one-day videos up to 30 seconds in 720p.
