Lịch Xưa - Lịch Âm Vạn Niên

Grandma's tear-off wall calendar, reborn on your iPhone. Beautiful, accurate, lightweight. Lịch Xưa ("the old calendar") is not a crowded calendar app full of buttons. Open it and you see a paper calendar page: a huge day number, the lunar date, stem-branch, auspicious hours and a Vietnamese folk saying for today. Every morning, swipe up to tear off a page — it curls under your finger with a real paper-tearing sound. ◆ AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE RETRO • The look of a classic Hanoi wall calendar: aged paper, cinnabar ink, a hand-stamped "Auspicious day" seal. • ANIMATED Đông Hồ folk paintings every day: a rooster pecking grain, a waddling pig family, a carp flicking its tail, the famous Mouse Wedding procession, the Scholar's Return… All newly drawn in woodcut style, with legs moving at the joints. • A complete set of 12 Đông Hồ zodiac animals; the year's animal is printed faintly behind the day number, like offset-printed calendars. • Vintage typography and tall, bold day numerals straight from 1980s–90s wall calendars. ◆ SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR GRANDPARENTS • Just 4 tabs: Today · Month · Events · More. • Large text, high contrast, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver that reads the page as a natural sentence. • Swipe up/down for the next/previous day, left/right for the same day next/previous month. ◆ ACCURATE TO VIETNAM TIME • Lunar dates computed for Vietnam's time zone (GMT+7) with Hồ Ngọc Đức's algorithm — Tết is never off by a day. • 100% offline, from 1900 to 2199. • Day/month/year stem-branch, 24 solar terms, 12 day officers, 28 lunar mansions, auspicious & inauspicious hours, travel directions, conflicting ages and taboo days. ◆ LUNAR REMINDERS • Remind yearly lunar memorial days (giỗ), lunar birthdays, the 1st and 15th of every lunar month. • Leap months and short months handled correctly. • Tết countdown; pin important events to the top. • Every event type has its own color and woodcut icon: incense bowl, longevity peach, lotus… ◆ TRADITIONAL TOOLS • 20 Vietnamese prayers (văn khấn) in large print, with today's lunar date filled in and offering tips. • Lunar ↔ solar converter, public holidays and Tết days off. • Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy widgets; an Apple Watch app with complications. ◆ LIGHTWEIGHT — ABOUT 20 MB No account, no sign-in. Your events stay on your device (and in your own iCloud if you turn on sync). ◆ LỊCH XƯA PRO — ONE-TIME PURCHASE, YOURS FOR LIFE No subscription, no renewals. Pro unlocks: • No ads at all • Unlimited events (free: 5) • Good days by activity: weddings, groundbreaking, moving house, grand openings, travel… • Daily do's and don'ts • 24-mountain feng shui compass and Lỗ Ban ruler (3 types) • Tết countdown & StandBy widgets • iCloud sync and export to the Calendar app Family Sharing supported. The free version shows one small banner ad at the bottom of the Month and Events tabs; the Today calendar page is always clean and ad-free. Customs and auspicious-day information are provided as cultural reference according to the traditional almanac.
