Cardcroft: Card Village

One table, one pack, one village. Cardcroft is a calm but thoughtful strategy game where you build a village by stacking cards. You start with a few cards: drop a villager on a tree and you get wood. Combine wood with stone and a new building appears. Every combination opens the door to a new idea. STACK CARDS Put villagers on resources to chop wood, break stone and gather fruit. Stack cards in the right order to make new cards, buildings and food. DISCOVER IDEAS Idea cards from packs teach you new recipes. Build homesteads, plant plots, cook over the fire pit, raise a storehouse. Can you find all 58 ideas? FEED YOUR VILLAGE At the end of each day your villagers need to eat. Each villager needs 2 food a day; one short and they are tired the next day. Grow, store and cook food, and expand your storehouses to stay under the card limit. DEFEND YOUR VILLAGE When the Dark Gate opens, enemies pour out. Equip your villagers with weapons and armor, turn them into warriors and protect your village. At the end of the road the Demon awaits. SHINY CARDS, RARE GATES Any card has a small chance to come out shiny: a shiny villager works faster, shiny food feeds more. Sometimes a Rare Gate opens instead of a Dark Gate, and the enemies it releases are tougher.
