Temperatura for Mac

About
See your Mac's temperatures and keep an eye on them from iPhone and iPad: chip, SSD, battery and the macOS thermal state, live on the same Wi‑Fi network and, with iCloud, away from home too. HOW IT WORKS Install Temperatura for Mac on the Mac and open it. iPhone and iPad find the Mac by themselves on the local network: no account, nothing to configure. WHAT YOU SEE • The macOS thermal state: normal, elevated, serious or critical. It tells you whether the Mac is slowing down to cool off. • A summary per group, with the hottest sensor and the average. • A chart of the last 10 minutes. • Celsius or Fahrenheit. • More than one Mac? Choose which one to watch. AWAY FROM HOME TOO With iCloud, the Mac saves its temperatures to your account about once a minute, and iPhone and iPad show them even when they are not on the same network. The data stays in your iCloud: we never see it. All it takes is the same Apple Account on the Mac and on the device. AN ALERT IF THE MAC RUNS HOT Turn on "Alert me if the Mac runs hot" and get a notification as soon as the thermal state is no longer normal (elevated, serious or critical), even from afar. Handy when the Mac works on its own, for example during an AI task, an export or a long build. ON THE MAC The same app shows everything on the Mac too, with the temperature in the menu bar and a summary one click away. GOOD TO KNOW • You need a Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later, with Temperatura for Mac open. • On the same Wi‑Fi network updates are real-time; away from home about once a minute, with the Mac on and connected to the internet. • Some guest, corporate or public networks block communication between devices: iCloud still works there. • In English, Italian, Spanish, French, Portuguese and German. REQUIREMENTS iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. A Mac with Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later with the Temperatura for Mac app installed.
