About

Take Three is a field journal for the side of the road. It is not a trip planner. You stop for one thing, photograph it, and keep the record on your phone. Each take has three frames: Wide, Object, and Detail. Add a note, the light, the weather, and how the stop felt. A haul groups the takes from one stretch of road. While a haul is open, new takes sit on it. The atlas is a fixed guide to roadside types: stations, diners, markers, trucks, statues, and a few that are harder to find. Your own takes attach to those types. You do not invent new categories. The map shows takes that have a pin. The pin is optional. Drop it from the take itself, using your current location, or leave the take as a memory with no coordinate. Several hauls can appear as separate roads. Tally counts what you have kept: complete frames, a streak, time of day, and which types you see most. Cabin is a short spotting game from the passenger window. It is separate from the journal. The journal works offline. Photos, notes, hauls, and scores stay on your device. There is no account, no ads, and no tracking.Read more
