About
Scaravilt Gunudul is a complete glaze chemistry studio for studio potters and ceramicists. Build and analyse recipes using the unity molecular formula, predict fired surface and colour before your work ever reaches the kiln, and keep every test blend and firing log in one place. The recipe editor computes the full oxide chemistry of any glaze — surface class, opacity, thermal expansion coefficient, Si:Al ratio, and melt quality — then explains exactly what is driving each result. The prediction engine forecasts fired finish from Matte to High Gloss, crazing and shivering risk, and crystal-forming tendencies, so you can correct a recipe on paper rather than discover problems after the firing. Blend testing is built in. Design line blends, triaxial blends, and colorant ladders, weigh tiles directly from the batch calculator, and record fired results tile by tile. The kiln section generates multi-segment firing schedules for any Orton cone, tracks calibration readings over time, and logs everything loaded for each firing — including cone readings and notes. A library of more than sixty reference materials covers feldspars, frits, colorants, fluxes, opacifiers, and stabilisers. Add your own materials and clay bodies, substitute ingredients with the built-in rebalance solver, export shareable recipe cards to your photo library, and attach photos of fired tests to keep prediction and result side by side. Everything runs fully offline — no account or subscription required.Read more
