About

Read Wikipedia faster, with more context and less clutter. WikiReader is a reader built for following ideas. Its Focus mode shows an article one word at a time, at the speed you choose, so your eyes stay still and the words come to you. Unlike other speed readers, it keeps the page around the words: images, section titles, links, and sources. FOCUS READING • One word or short phrase at a time (RSVP speed reading), from 150 to 700 words per minute • Natural pacing that pauses at commas, sentence ends, and new paragraphs • The article's images behind the words, or off if you prefer • Section titles always in view, and a progress bar split by section • On iPad and wide screens, a page panel with the current image, paragraph, links, and sources • Save a link to your trail without stopping, then come back to it later • Pause on any word, tap another to continue from there, and return to the full article at the same spot READING AND TRAILS • Clean, comfortable article reading with citations intact • Reading trails that preserve how one topic led to another • Multiple open articles with saved scroll position • Saved articles and offline copies • Highlights, notes, and custom reading lists • Listen mode that reads the article aloud • Optional account sync across devices • Adjustable type, spacing, theme, accent, and language • Transparent recommendations you can dismiss or turn off • Privacy controls and a one-time Remove Ads purchase Ads never appear inside articles, in Focus, or while you scroll. They are limited to occasional interstitials after completed reading, never in the first session, and can be removed permanently. Wikipedia content and citations remain primary. WikiReader is independent and is not affiliated with the Wikimedia Foundation.Read more
