About
Jazza Bloom predicts what your paint mix will look like on dry canvas before you touch a single tube. Powered by Kubelka-Munk spectral physics — the science used in professional colour labs — it simulates how pigments absorb and scatter light across 31 spectral bands. The result is a dried-film colour preview that is far more accurate than any RGB blending app. Load the Bench with up to 8 pigments, dial in your ratios, and watch the predicted colour update in real time. Switch between opaque Body mixes and transparent Glazes over any ground — white, grey, warm imprimatura, or a saved mix of your own. Export a shareable recipe card when you find a mix worth keeping. Need to match a colour you can see? Tap Match, enter a hex code or sample a pixel from any photo, and the solver works backwards through your palette to find the closest pigment recipe. Set your tolerance in DeltaE — the perceptual accuracy unit painters trust — and let the engine do the hard work. Build your colour eye with Trials, a gamified drill system covering the five skills every painter needs: hue steering, value control, chroma and neutrals, secondary mixing, and glazing. Earn points, unlock ranks from Apprentice to Master Mixer, and develop the intuition that makes the right mix feel obvious. A full Shelf of 48 catalogued pigments — each carrying ASTM lightfastness ratings, opacity class, and colour index names — is ready whenever you want to expand your palette.Read more
