derhatır is for huffaz who want to hold on to what they have memorized. It tells you which pages to read each day, keeps note of the ayahs you stumble on, and shows you where your memorization is slipping. You keep pausing in the same places without noticing. You hesitate on an ayah or two, finish the page, call it done. A month later you pause in the same spot. Normally only someone listening to you would catch this. derhatır is that listener’s notebook. How it works When you open a page the text comes up blurred. You recite from memory, without looking. Tap where you get stuck and the veil lifts step by step: the first word, then half the ayah, then the whole ayah. You uncover only as much as you need. Press Done. That is it. You are never asked “how did it go?” On a page you recite comfortably you do not touch the screen at all, so every tap leaves a trace. What it does - It remembers the ayah, not just the page. Months later it can still name the exact ayahs that gave you trouble. - Stumbles that keep coming back get marked. As the ayah settles, the mark fades. - 604 mushaf pages at a glance: a page that starts slipping fades, and shines again when you reread it. - The app works out which page to revisit and when. No page waits longer than forty days. - Quiz yourself quickly on a few ayahs or a page. - Hatim flow: an ordered reading from beginning to end. If a page is in your map, measurement still runs there. - Have someone listen: share a room code; they mark where you paused from their own screen. - Pick your mushaf font (Noto Naskh, Scheherazade, Lateef, Harmattan). - Turkish, English, Arabic. Choose Arabic and the whole screen turns right to left. What it does not do No points, no badges, no streaks, no leaderboards. This is for memorization.
