Wildfolio: Trail Journal

Every walk is worth remembering. Wildfolio is a personal outdoor journal for iPhone. Record a hike, collect destination stamps, and place your route and activity data on your own photos. RECORD YOUR HIKE Open the map, choose hiking, climbing or trail running, and start. Record your route, distance, total time, speed or pace, and available elevation, ascent and descent. Recording can continue with the screen locked or another app open. Pausing stops location collection while total elapsed time continues. Pause first, then hold for 3 seconds to finish. Reliable elevation controls route colors; missing sections remain disconnected. TURN ROUTES INTO PHOTOS Export a route and data report to Photos or the system share sheet. Add your own photo and move, resize or adjust the opacity of the route and data layers independently. Choose a text color and save an editable composition to return to later. A trip remains saved even if you make no photo. Route screenshot and GPX import are also supported; review screenshot recognition results before sharing. REVISIT YOUR JOURNEY See cumulative trip counts, time and distance. Find past trips by year, activity type or place. Journal entries support repeat visits, private notes and dates known only to a month or year. Private notes are not automatically included in exported images. STAMPS AND DAILY LANDSCAPES Explore 241 destinations, including 149 in China. Read introductions, save a wishlist and collect stamps based on your own visits. Discover a daily view from 241 bundled original destination illustrations. Stamps do not require GPS check-in, and illustrations are not photographs. MAPS AND OFFLINE TERRAIN Choose standard, satellite, satellite with roads or terrain map styles online. Download a selected area in advance to view a local elevation reference without a network connection. Offline terrain excludes roads, place names, satellite imagery and navigation. GPS recording does not require a continuous internet connection, but location quality depends on the environment. OPTIONAL ICLOUD SYNC Use the Apple Account already signed in on your device, without a separate password. Enable sync to keep completed trips, journal entries, wishlist and saved photo edits across devices. Sync requires an internet connection and available iCloud storage. Local features remain usable without it. TEN LANGUAGES Simplified and Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese and Arabic. Personal titles, notes and original stamp inscriptions keep their original text. PROBLEM FEEDBACK Open Me > Problem feedback to describe an issue and contact the developer by email. Cancelling or a sending failure preserves your draft. Wildfolio is not a navigation, rescue or visit-certification service. Distance and elevation are location estimates. Terrain and destination descriptions do not represent current trail conditions. Core image processing runs on your device, without ads or cross-app tracking. Unsaved photo edits may be lost when the app closes. Save important output separately to Photos or Files.
