About

One wave at a time. Ondra is a simple contraction timer designed to help you record what you’re feeling and share clear timings with your maternity team. TIME WITH A TAP Tap when a contraction begins, then tap again when it ends. See its duration and the time since the previous contraction ended. Your running timer and saved entries remain when you leave and reopen the app. SEE YOUR RECORDED PATTERN Review start-to-start spacing, average duration, and the span of a consecutive pattern. Ondra offers feedback when your recorded timings are close to the familiar 5–1–1 guideline: approximately five minutes apart, approximately one minute long, for about an hour. KEEP YOUR HISTORY USEFUL Add a missed contraction, correct a timing, delete an entry, or share your recorded timings using the iOS share sheet. KEEP YOUR CARE TEAM CLOSE Save separate working-hours and after-hours phone numbers, ready when you want to call. Ondra never calls automatically. PRIVATE AND SIMPLE No account, ads, subscriptions, or analytics. Your timings are stored on your device and are not sent to the developer. Sharing is always your choice. Supports light and dark appearance, larger text, and VoiceOver. IMPORTANT 5–1–1 is a common rule of thumb, not a universal admission rule. Ondra’s timing allowances are software estimates, not clinically validated cutoffs. The app cannot diagnose labor, assess you or your baby, or decide when you should go to hospital. It does not monitor or send alerts while closed. Always follow your maternity team’s advice and contact them whenever you are concerned; do not wait for an app pattern.Read more
